MAG member Stuart Beaty passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018. There will be a celebration of Stuart’s life on April 5 at Blair Funeral Home, Smiths Falls. Visitation is from 12 – 2 and the celebration ceremony took place at 2, followed by a reception.
Stuart painted in watercolour for over 30 years. His favourite subjects included local or international scenes as well as flowers and figures. Stuart was also a Fellow of the Ottawa Watercolour Society and exhibited in a number of galleries and shows in Ottawa and Merrickville. His work was on display at the Grotto Artworks in Merrickville.
