About Graham
Graham studied at the Central School of Art and Design in London, England, specializing in furniture design, for which he won a travel bursary. Upon graduation he came to Montreal to visit Expo 67 and forgot to go home.
Before retirement he worked in the design field across Canada: for a while as a furniture designer, morphed into interior designer/office planner and finally as a project manager for office accommodation.
He started painting watercolours in the late 70s, observing and recording his local surroundings. He then went on to paint scenes from places on his travels, to visit family, in Europe.
Most days Graham can be found in his studio/gallery in Merrickville, sometimes painting and sometimes doing a crossword puzzle or Sudoku.
