I am inspired by nature and all things natural. My focus is eclectic, as I currently have watercolour paintings, chalk renderings, acrylics, and some multimedia pieces up and available for sale through the studio gallery I have at the Smiths Falls Artisan Market building. Much of my work is nature-themed, and my multimedia pieces include things gathered in the wilds around me.
I have been a digital artist (animation mostly) for over 23 years. I have sold fine art by commission for over 25 years and have donated pieces to multiple events/organizations to raise funds.
My history of fine art training began as I auditioned and was accepted into Mississauga’s Cawthra Park High school (which has a regional arts program) in which I studied fine art in multiple medias. I then went on to Sheridan College and have completed their “Art Fundamentals” and “Classical Animation” programs. I was hired directly after graduation at a studio in Nova Scotia, where I worked as an animator from 2000 until this year. I have had three art shows through different coffee shops in Wolfville and Windsor, NS. I had a piece displayed for sale in the Teichart Gallery, which is run through the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia.
