About Vanda
Vanda studied at ACAD in Calgary AB, where she received a BFA majoring in ceramics. She lives with her family in an old farmhouse just outside the little village of Burritt’s Rapids in eastern Ontario. She has a workshop in the barn where she makes pots, and a big garden where she grows vegetables.
Her pots are expressive and gestural, influenced by forms in nature. They are creative in form but functional and comfortable to the hand.
