About Viviane
Viviane studied drawing and oil painting at the Academy of Realist Art in Toronto/Ottawa. She has furthered her education by attending about a dozen week-long workshops in portraiture, landscape and still life principles in Canada and mostly the United States, including a fun Painting the Horse workshop in Arizona. While attending a pastel workshop in 2020 at the Paul Ingbretson Studios near Boston, she fell in love with the soft pastel medium for its extended colour range and luminosity.
Viviane continues to challenge herself in the pastel medium by entering member and international open juried competitions of the numerous pastel societies.
