Véronique Stéfanica, artist
“Painting is like traveling within my world.”
Véronique is a visual artist who also loves wool and other natural fibres. Her paintings are a “breath of fresh air” — vibrant, full of life, and in their childlike innocence, take many of us back to a simpler and gentler time.
Véronique was born and educated in Chartres, France and emigrated to Canada in 1985, graduating from Richard Robinson School of Fashion Design in Ottawa. She lives in North Gower, Ontario and works from her art studio. Véronique enjoys teaching art to children and adults and has been the art educator at Kanata Montessori school since 2010.
