About Linda
Linda was born and raised on a farm in Winchester Springs. Her education includes a BFA with scholarship from the University of Guelph, two years graphic design and a three year interior design certificate from Sheridan College. She has spent the past thirty years operating her own business, Design Illusions, mural and decorative painting in the greater Toronto area.
Linda was a part-time art professor at Sheridan College in Oakville.
Moving back to this area, she presently works part-time as a creative director for Smilezone Foundation, a charity redesigning children’s hospital spaces with murals and sensory equipment.
Oil painting is Linda’s fine art passion, preferring people as subjects. Capturing a single moment in time or an emotion creating a closer intimacy with the viewer is her goal.
