I am a child of the North..no doubt about it…at 77 maybe a child no more. If you can imagine a line from Gravenhurst through to Parry Sound ; North of this line is my happy place. I grew up spending my summers living at my Gran’s place on Calender Bay. I built a house on a lake just outside of Huntsville where I canoed the back waters of Algonquin Park I head north to Wawa twice a year for fishing ….when I cross the line I mentioned earlier I get the feeling of going home. I paint wildlife and landscapes and ….I paint because it allows me to relive some of those truly memorable days.
