Artist’s Statement – Biography

Lesley Strutt is an award-winning poet, novelist, and playwright. She lives in Merrickville, Ontario but she grew up in the Gatineau Hills on the edge of the forest. Her writing is filled with images of rivers, streams, trees, forests, sunlight, clouds, birds, changing seasons, rocks, mountains and valleys. Her passion is this planet – its natural and its human inhabitants.
