The first 2018 Conversation took place on January 11 with Martin Green and Holly Dean discussing the Art of Abstraction. The event was a wonderful success. Here are some of the comments:
Thank-you, thank-you for organizing an amazing and memorable evening! We were both transfixed watching Holly create her awe-inspiring painting while listening to Martin’s explanation of the development of abstract art. The evening has spurred me to learn more about a genre of art that I haven’t explored. Both John and I agreed that Holly could have sold her piece several times over last evening!
We are indeed fortunate to have such talent in our village and a dedicated group organizing these evenings. There was a lot of positive energy in the room last evening and I am sure you could double the number of talks and they would be a definite hit! Thank-you very much!! Leanne and John
