MAG Conversations will feature multi-talented Doug Phillips on March 12. Doug is a playwright, actor and award winning short story writer. His first play, Naan Bread, won the Ottawa Little Theatre Award. Righteous Tithe, a play turned film, was nominated for best professional production in the Capital Critics Circle Awards.
Can a good play translate into a good film? What are the challenges of script writing? How does a play get turned into a screenplay, where camera sequences often trump dialogue? This talented writer will explore these and many other questions in conversation with our guest moderator.
Come out and join in on the Conversation.
Thursday, March 12, 2020 starting at 7:30 pm in the Merrickville Royal Canadian Legion.
This event is FREE for MAG Members, Friends of MAG, and MAG Sponsors. A small fee of $5.00 will be charged at the door to the general public.
