The Merrickville Artists’ Guild (MAG) Photography Collective had a wonderful March meeting with a lively discussion of the upcoming MAG Tour and how the photographers can contribute to its success.
The assignment for our April meeting is to submit images reflecting the theme of “Melting”. We thought it was appropriate for this time of year (it can’t come fast enough) but could also reflect thoughts of summer and/or evoke emotions and anything else you can thing of related to the theme. Local photographers are welcome to submit, or bring on a memory stick, up to four JPG images for friendly dialogue on the assignment of “Melting”.
Our workshop for April 3rd will be on preparing images for social media such as Facebook and Instagram. Social media platforms are forever changing the image sizes and formats, so to keep you updated we will discuss the updated 2019 social media image sizes. The need for strong social media presence has soared in the last five years and will only increase in prominence.
